Salary: £25,507 to £27,165 gross per annum

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an IT Technician to join our friendly, busy and developing IT team.

Working closely with the Network Manager and other IT colleagues to maintain and maximise performance, reliability, functionality, security and continued progression of all TSR IT Systems, key aspects of this IT Technician role include;

  • Providing a high standard of basic first-line, on-site IT support across the organisation
  • Responding proactively to incoming IT requests and queries from our staff teams
  • Supporting a high standard of cyber security as part of our commitment to safeguarding
  • Assisting and advising staff and students on IT use and application

The successful candidate should be;

  • Sector- and IT- qualified, e.g. FE, plus Microsoft/CompTIA Certification
  • Organised and hardworking, with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of the team
  • Prompt, punctual and friendly, with an openness to learning and new ideas
